IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME

Feel free to call or provide your information below regardless of whether a study is currently enrolling. We can contact you as a new study becomes available.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder that affects the large intestine (colon). Irritable bowel syndrome’s most common symptoms are cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation.  There are two sub-types of irritable bowel syndrome: IBS-C and IBS-D.  IBS-C is irritable bowel syndrome that is predominately associated with frequent bouts of constipation while IBS-D is irritable bowel syndrome that is predominately associated with episodes of diarrhea.  IBS is a chronic condition but can be managed through proper diet, exercise, and, when necessary, medication regimes.

Bluewater Clinical Research Group is committed to contributing to research that may help or improve the lives of individuals suffering from IBS. We are actively enrolling patients who suffer from IBS-diarrhea sub-type. Do you suffer from IBS-diarrhea sub-type? Do you have abdominal pain associated with your IBS-D? If so, please contact us using the form below for more information about volunteering for an IBS-D research study.
