Respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, is a virus that affects the respiratory tract and causes mild, cold-like symptoms. These symptoms can include coughing, runny nose, fever, irritability, or a decrease in energy. Individuals with weakened immune systems are at a higher risk of contracting the virus and can suffer more severe conditions such as pneumonia, congestive heart failure, hospitalization, or death. The virus is highly contagious and is commonly spread between late fall and early spring by contact with an infected person or by touching an object that has been touched by an infected person.

Bluewater Clinical Research Group is dedicated in furthering research against RSV and is currently running a trial for a potential vaccine for the young healthy woman. We are actively enrolling healthy individuals between the ages of 18-49 to receive this vaccination.
