Pediatric Constipation

Pediatric Constipation is a common problem in children of all ages, with a worldwide prevalence ranging between 7% to 29.6%.

Symptoms include infrequent, hard stools, painful defecation and affected children may have abdominal pain and fecal incontinence.

These symptoms can have a severe impact on the child’s quality of life and may lead to school and extracurricular activities absenteeism.

Clinical research studies can have varying criteria to participate in them. We will be contacting you to discuss the inclusion and exclusion criteria for this study to help us determine if you qualify and if the study may be a good fit for you.
